Areas of Expertise

As a Cross-cultural & LGBTQ+ affirming therapist therapist in the Netherlands and Europe, I support expats and internationals who are experiencing:

  • Difficulty adjusting to life abroad or feeling at home

  • Burnout, chronic stress, and emotional exhaustion

  • Anxiety, overthinking, and constant self-pressure

  • Perfectionism and fear of failure

  • Struggling with boundaries, assertiveness and people-pleasing

  • Identity struggles, including LGBTQ+ identity and belonging

  • Shame, guilt, or internal conflict

  • Life transitions and uncertainty

About

You might have moved abroad for a better life.

And on paper, everything looks fine.

But inside, something feels off.

Many expats and internationals in Europe experience this quiet disconnect — especially when navigating identity, belonging, and emotional wellbeing in a new environment.

If you are part of the LGBTQ+ community, these experiences can feel even more complex.
Different cultures, expectations, or past experiences may make it harder to feel fully accepted or safe to be yourself.

As an LGBTQ+ affirming and Cross-cultural psychologist working with expats in the Netherlands and all across Europe, I offer online therapy in English or Greek for individuals who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or under pressure to keep everything together.

You don’t have to explain everything from the beginning.
You don’t have to perform.

We take the time to understand what’s going on, at your pace.

Approach

My approach is integrative and LGBTQ+ affirming.

I combine evidence-based therapies including:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Schema Therapy

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

  • Gender, Sexuality, and Relationship Diversity Therapy (GSRD)

In our work, we focus on:

  • understanding emotional patterns and identity-related experiences

  • managing anxiety, stress, and overwhelm

  • working through shame, perfectionism, and self-criticism

  • building self-compassion and emotional resilience

As a therapist working with LGBTQ+ clients and expats, I aim to create a space that is safe, inclusive, and respectful of different identities, cultures, and life paths.

Experience

I hold a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Clinical Psychology from Leiden University in the Netherlands.

I have completed specialised training in Gender, Sexuality, and Relationship Diversity Therapy, focusing on working with LGBTQ+ clients.

My experience includes working with international and multicultural populations across Europe, supporting expats and individuals navigating life transitions abroad.

I continue to engage in supervision and ongoing training to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy specialised in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
